Hi and Welcome to Lynsey's  Counselling

 

Hi, my name is Lynsey and I am a Qualified Person-Centred (PCT) Counsellor based in Manchester. I am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and fully insured. As a person-centred counsellor my approach is grounded in the belief that each individual has the capacity for growth, healing and positive change, when provided with the right environment. 

At the heart of person-centred counselling is a deep respect for your autonomy, i will not tell you what to do, i will walk alongside you, helping you reconnect with your own inner wisdom and strength. This approach is built on three core conditions: empathy, congruence (genuineness), and unconditional positive regard. These qualities form the foundation of a trusting therapeutic relationship, allowing you to feel truly heard, understood and accepted. I believe that every individual holds the inner resources needed for healing and growth.

Here at Lynsey's counselling, i provide a warm, compassionate, empathic, non-judgemental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace.

I specalise in supporting those who are grieving, whether that be through the death of a loved one, the loss of a relationship, loss of a job, loss of identity or other life changing events.

Grief is deeply personal and every individual's experience is unique, grief can feel overwhelming, confusing and even isolating. Together, we can gently work through those feelings, helping to find meaning, connection and a sense of self amidst the pain.

I offer support away from grief, working with a range of other issues, including:
